Alex Martidis is a Finance & Accounting student at the University of Colorado Boulder’s Leeds School of Business, where he maintains a 3.7 GPA and has been recognized on the Dean’s List. With a strong foundation in financial modeling, market research, and valuation analysis, Alex is dedicated to pursuing a career in investment banking.
During his time as a Summer Analyst at Cascadia Capital, Alex conducted comprehensive financial buyer research, performed competitor analysis, and contributed to high-level deal pitches for the C-suite. He developed hands-on proficiency in industry-standard tools, including PitchBook, Capital IQ, and DealCloud, which allowed him to deliver actionable insights that supported strategic financial decisions.
In addition to his professional experience, Alex has earned certifications in Financial Modeling (Breaking Into Wall Street), Capital IQ Pro 101 (S&P Global), and Advanced Excel—skills that enable him to excel in data-driven environments and deliver detailed financial analysis.
Alex’s passion for finance extends beyond the classroom. As an active member of the Leeds Investment Banking Club and the Leeds Investment & Trading Group, he has honed his skills in equity research, stock analysis, and valuation strategies through collaborative projects and workshops.
